This inventory was a collaborative project (non-FGCU site) with input and advice from residents of the Village of Estero, members of BikeWalkLee, faculty at Florida Gulf Coast University, and a great team of students.
Faculty members Dr. Margaret Banyan (College of Arts & Sciences) and Dr. Claude Villiers (U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering) led the study, which involved a team of students enrolled in public administration, political science, civil engineering and other courses of study, along with faculty and professional resources. The study was designed to look at bicycle, pedestrian, landscaping and pavement conditions of public roadways.
Engineering students involved in the project: Joseph Hill, Jennifer Coates, Matthew Cull, and Jose Castano.
