Do You Know of a Person on Campus Displaying Behavior that Concerns You?
If the answer is YES, please report it immediately; the University has resources to help.
Here are your options for reporting:
#1 If your concern is an immediate health or safety concern, call the University Police at 239-590-1900.
#2 If your concern includes a student behavioral issue and it is not an emergency, complete the online Information and Incident report form located here. The report goes to the Dean of Students’ Office for review and referral to the appropriate person/office.
The Dean of Students Office Care Team is available during business hours for walk-ins, Cohen Center 288.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a 24 hour telephone help line for those in immediate distress who need to speak with a mental health professional: (239) 745-EARS (3277). CAPS is also available for counseling services during regular business hours.
#3 If your concern includes a student, staff or faculty member, the Behavioral Consultation and Assessment Team (BCAT) provides consultation for those concerned about the behavior of a person on campus. You may call any member of the BCAT team listed below or complete the online form located here.
