The Office of Student Involvement is accepting applications for a student assistant starting this May, 2018. The position has flexible hours based on your class schedule (up to 15 hours per week) and the pay is $8.50 per hour. We are looking for someone who stays during the summer to help with orientation. Duties include customer service at the front desk, data entry, distribution of mail and packages. Other duties include answering the phone and assisting RSO’s with copies, travel and event purchase forms. If you are interested please come to the OSI office located in Cohen Center 258A to fill out an application. We will accept applications until April 13, 2018.

Event One: History Cosplay Photo Contest | 10:00am-1:00pm
Dress up as a historical figure and take pictures in front of our green screen. The photos will be blasted on television monitors throughout the campus. Prize will go to the best dressed and stylish.
Event Two: Reacting to the Past | 12:00pm-3:00pm

Tired of learning historical events through a textbook? RTTP allows you to immerse in the past through role-playing historical events/situations. Each person will be given a historical figure/character and will conduct themselves as if they are in a specific time period. There will be opportunities for alternative historical outcomes. This event will be led by Dr. Jeff Fortney. *Honors event; Limit: 50 participants

#2 If your concern includes a student behavioral issue and it is not an emergency, complete the online Information and Incident report form located here. The report goes to the Dean of Students’ Office for review and referral to the appropriate person/office.
The Dean of Students Office Care Team is available during business hours for walk-ins, Cohen Center 288.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a 24 hour telephone help line for those in immediate distress who need to speak with a mental health professional: (239) 745-EARS (3277). CAPS is also available for counseling services during regular business hours.
